Where it all began
Budapest is home. Our first café opened on Hercegprímás utca in 2021, in the heart of Lipótváros, and it’s still the place we measure everything else against. After years chasing little coffees around the world and falling hard for brunch, this is the corner where we decided to stop and build something of our own.
You’ll find us a two-minute walk from St. Stephen’s Basilica, on a quiet downtown street that sits between the grand sweep of Andrássy Avenue, the Hungarian State Opera and the buzz of Deák Ferenc Square. Wander a little further and you’re at the Danube Promenade. It’s a lovely pocket of the city to land in mid-morning, coffee in hand.
What to order
Start with brunch with a twist — creative plates made fresh on-site from locally-sourced ingredients, with proper, generous portions. We’re big on vegan and vegetarian cooking (and in our vegan dishes we cut right back on the seed oils), so there’s plenty here whatever you eat.
Then the cookies. We bake our chunky handmade cookies in-house every day with real butter and good chocolate — Belgian chocolate, Nutella, Lotus, Dulce de Leche — thick and crisp on the outside, gooey in the middle. Pair one with a specialty coffee or a mimosa, or try a slice from our Cheesecake by Cookie Beacon line.
